The collaboration between Orange Romania and Ovidius University of Constanța began in 2020. At the invitation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, experts from Orange Romania delivered two webinars on the topic of cybersecurity. The partnership was formalized in 2021 through the signing of a Partnership Agreement, by which both parties committed to promoting shared values and supporting each other in activities and events relevant to both sides. Besides that, Orange Romania was also invited to join the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The collaboration aims to encourage educational, innovation, and research projects in the IT&C field and related areas, as well as to provide a framework for student internships.
