
The Technical University of Cluj Napoca (UTCN) hosted on October 26-28, 2023 the 19th edition of the ICCP (International Conference on Intelligent Computer Communication and Processing). The symposium was organized by the Computer Science Department of UTCN, with the support of IEEE and the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences and with the support of Orange Romania, Bosch and Porsche.

Orange Romania became the main partner of this event starting with this edition, supporting these types of activities through the Orange Educational Program (OEP). Together with other teachers from the higher education institution, our colleague Cristian Pațachia, Development and Innovation Manager, was part of the symposium's Organizing Committee.
At the opening of the conference our colleague Razvan Mihai, IoT Architecture & Services Expert, took part, together with Bosch, INRIA Paris and UTCN, in the workshop entitled "Brainstorming On The Future Trends In Automated Driving Technology Development", where he gave a speech on "Orange 5G - Enabler for future mobility", presenting the benefits of 5G technology for new applications in the transportation/logistics vertical and the research projects in which related use cases are piloted with the help of the infrastructure developed in the Orange 5G Lab.
