On 1 July, the Orange Educational Program (OEP) hosted its annual graduates' competition at Tandem, bringing together students, university representatives, mentors, and Orange Romania management to celebrate the successful completion of another OEP generation.
The event was hosted by Gabriel Papuc, coordinator of the OEP, while the competition officially opened with welcoming words from Marius Maican, Technology Director at Orange Romania, and Luiza Muller, HR Director at Orange Romania. Both speakers congratulated the graduates for their dedication and wished a good luck in the upcoming competition.

The presentations
The highlight of the event was the presentation session, where 13 graduates presented the projects they had developed during the program. The topics covered ranged from telecommunications and cloud-native infrastructures to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, IoT, and next-generation mobile networks.

Following the presentations, the audience heard inspiring messages from the academic community. Prof. Mihnea Udrea, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ETTI), and Prof. Mihnea Moisescu, Dean of the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers (ACS), UNSTPB, congratulated the graduates on their achievements and highlighted the importance of the partnership between academia and industry in preparing the next generation of engineers.

Awards
The competition concluded with the awards ceremony, presented by Cristian Patachia, Development & Innovation Manager and a graduate of the Orange Educational Program's 2000 promotion. Six special awards were presented to recognize outstanding achievements across three evaluation criteria: Originality and Practical Applicability, Relevance to the Topic and Scope of Coverage, and Documentation and Technical-Scientific Rigor.

Graduation Ceremony
The event concluded with Luiza Muller, who presented each graduate with their Orange Educational Program Graduation Diploma, marking the successful completion of the program and celebrating the beginning of the graduates' next professional chapter.
