The winners of the Business Review’s Readers’ Choice HR Awards have been announced, and among them is the Orange Educational Program, a long-standing initiative dedicated to training future generations of telecom specialists. The “Best Educational Program” award was accepted by Luiza Muller, HR Director at Orange Romania — one of the program’s earliest supporters and a key contributor to its success over the years.
Launched in 1997, the Orange Educational Program was the company’s first social responsibility initiative. In the 25 years since its launch, more than 1,200 students have graduated from the program. Over 500 of them have completed internships at Orange Romania, and 165 have chosen to write their bachelor’s theses in collaboration with the company.
Orange’s investment in the program amounts to nearly 1 million euros, directed toward student scholarships, equipping university laboratories, and installing Wi-Fi services that provide free internet access to students in all classrooms and libraries.
Orange Educational Program is very proud and thanks Business Review, for this recognition!
