About
In the 2024–2025 academic year, Orange Romania is offering students from partner universities (see the list) enrolled in bachelor's programs in the years preceding the final year (3rd year for engineering specializations and 2nd year for mathematics and computer science specializations) a total of 12 educational packages:
- 10 educational packages for students from all partner universities
- 2 educational packages exclusively for students from the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest (UNSTPB)
Package includes
- Monthly scholarship of €300 for 3 months starting July 1, 2025
- Bachelor's scholarship worth €300 per month, starting from September 1, 2025, for a period of 4 months. This period may be extended by an additional 6 months, starting from January 1, 2026.
- Summer internship within Orange Romania’s Technical or IT departments
- Participation in courses of the Orange Educational Program
- Certificate of attendance for the courses
- Possibility to complete the bachelor's thesis within Orange Romania
- Tutor from Orange Romania for supporting the preparation of the bachelor's thesis
- Priority in recruitment starting January 2026
Application & Selection Process
Applications are open from February 25 to April 3, 2025 at: oep@orange.com.
Application file must include:
- CV with contact details (phone, email), academic averages, transcript, competition participation, conferences, awards, diplomas, specializations, additional courses, research activity, student organization involvement
- Motivation letter specifying which internship positions the candidate is applying for.
- Self-declaration regarding any contractual obligations with other companies (whether such commitments exist or not).
- Self-declaration regarding the possibility of accommodation in Bucharest for students from other university centers.
Selection Procedure
- Application file – max 400 points
- Orange Romania test – max 300 points
- Orange Romania interview – max 300 points
Timeline
- The list of selected students will be published on April 4, 2025.
- The interviews with the selected students will be organized between April 7–15, 2025, and will take place online via the Teams platform. Candidates will attend a separate interview for each internship position they have applied for.
- The list of students admitted to the Orange Educational Program will be published on April 16, 2025.
- The deadline for candidates to confirm their internship placement is April 30, 2025.
Package Withdrawal Conditions
Packages may be withdrawn if:
- The beneficiary (student) obtains unsatisfactory results during the exam session
- The beneficiary fails to comply with Orange Romania's disciplinary rules and internal regulations
- The beneficiary does not regularly attend internship activities at Orange Romania or has unjustified absences
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible students must:
- Be enrolled in the years preceding the final year (3rd year Engineering / 2nd year Mathematics-Informatics)
- Have passed the first two academic years and accumulated at least 800 out of 1000 points from the application file evaluation and interview
- Not be employed and commit not to become employed during the scholarship program
- Not receive another private scholarship involving contractual obligations with another company during the same period
Other Information
- Orange Educational Program does not provide accommodation in Bucharest.
- The internship activity is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of physical presence at the internship location.
- The bachelor's thesis scholarship is initially granted for a period of 4 months (September – December 2025), based on the student's performance during the internship (July – August 2025), upon the recommendation of the assigned tutor.
- The scholarship extension for an additional 6 months (January – June 2026) is awarded based on the student's performance during the bachelor's thesis preparation period (September – December), also upon the tutor’s recommendation.
