General information
In the academic year 2023-2024, Orange Romania offers 14 educational packages to the students of partner universities (see list) from undergraduate studies in the years prior to the final years (3rd year for students from engineering specialties and 2nd year for students from mathematics-computing specialties), distributed as follows:
- 10 educational packages for students of all partner universities (see list)
- 2 educational packages exclusively for students of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest (UNSTPB) (see list)
- 2 educational packages exclusively for the students of the Technical University Gheorghe Asachi from Iași (see list)
The educational package includes:
- Monthly scholarship of 300 € for 2 months, starting July 1, 2024;
- Summer internship - internship in the Technical or IT departments of Orange Romania;
- Mentoring from Orange Romania during the internship period;
- Possibility to realize the diploma (bachelor) project within Orange Romania.
- License scholarship of € 300 per month, starting September 1, 2024, for a period of 4 months. This period can be extended for another 6 months, starting January 1, 2025;
- Tutor within Orange Romania for the preparation of the diploma (license) thesis;
- Diploma of participation in the Orange Educational Program;
- Recruitment priority starting January 2025.
The educational packages are awarded on the basis of the analysis of the application file, after which the student can accumulate a maximum of 400 points, and the interview organized by Orange Romania, after which the student can accumulate a maximum of 600 points.

For the two educational packages offered exclusively to students of the Technical University Gheorghe Asachi of Iasi, the application form must be sent to the e-mail address: vlad-mihai.chiriac@academic.tuiasi.ro
All tests are mandatory. Any of them can be eliminatory. No appeals are allowed.
The application file will contain:
- Curriculum Vitae which will obligatorily include:
- Contact details (phone, e-mail),
- detailed up to date academic record, including the average grades of the 3 or 5 semesters and the final grades obtained in the subjects studied, as well as the proof confirming these grades (for example: extract from the university platform where the grades obtained in the subjects studied are made available to the students or a certificate from the faculty secretary's office with the average grades of the 3 / 5 semesters)
- participations in competitions, communication sessions, awards, diplomas obtained in the faculty, specializations, additional courses taken in the faculty or outside the faculty, research activities, activities within student organizations. - Letter of intent, specifying for which internship places the candidate is applying.
- Confirmation of commitments to other companies (if any).
- Confirmation regarding the possibility of accommodation in Bucharest. for students from other university centers.
There is no limit to the number of internship places you can choose.
Timeline
- The list of students who will participate in the interview organized by Orange Romania will be published on April 19, 2024.
- The interviews with the selected students will be organized between April 22-26, 2024 and will be held online on the Teams platform.
Candidates will be interviewed for each internship they have applied for. - The list of students who have been admitted to the Orange Educational Program will be published on 29 April 2024.
- The deadline for candidates to confirm their internship place is April 30, 2024.
Eligibility criteria
Students from the years before the final year (III engineering/ II mathematics-computing) who fulfill the following conditions can apply for an educational package:
- They have passed the first two years and accumulate a minimum of 800 points out of a total of 1000 points awarded in: file analysis, interview.
- Are not employed and undertake not to be employed by another company during the scholarship program.
- They do not benefit from another private scholarship for the same period of time as the scholarship offered by Orange Romania through which they assume contractual obligations (commitments) towards the company offering them this scholarship

The withdrawal of an admitted candidate will allow the next ranked candidate to obtain the educational package. Educational packages can be withdrawn if:
- The beneficiary (the student) achieves inadequate results in the university examination session.
- The beneficiary does not comply with one of the following obligations:
- Throughout the duration of the program The Beneficiary shall abide by the rules of discipline and internal rules of Orange Romania.
- The Beneficiary will constantly participate in the internship activity within Orange Romania and will not be absent without excuse.
Other information:
- Orange Educational Program does not provide accommodation in Bucharest.
- The internship is a hybrid internship, with a minimum of 3 days per week of physical presence at the internship site.
- The scholarship for the realization of the bachelor's thesis is awarded at the proposal of the tutors, initially for a period of 4 months (September - December 2024) depending on the student's performance during the internship period (July - August 2024)
- The extension of the scholarship for a period of 6 months (January - June 2025) is granted at the proposal of the tutors depending on the student's performance during the undergraduate study period September - December.
