General information
In the academic year 2022-2023, Orange Romania offers 3 types of educational packages to third-year students, as follows:
Educational Package I (maximum 30 places)
- Monthly scholarship worth 300 euros for 3 months, starting July 1, 2023;
- Summer internship - internship in the Technical or IT departments of Orange Romania;
- Participation in courses offered by OEP;
- Certificate of participation in the courses offered by Orange Educational Program;
- Possibility to realize the diploma (bachelor) project within Orange Romania;
- Tutor within Orange Romania for the preparation of the diploma thesis;
- Recruitment priority starting January 2023.
Educational Package II (maximum 36 places)
- Monthly scholarship of 200 euro for 3 months, starting July 1, 2023;
- Summer internship - internship in the Technical or IT departments of Orange Romania;
- Participation in courses offered by Orange Educational Program
- Certificate of participation in the courses offered by Orange Educational Program
- Possibility to realize the diploma (bachelor) project within Orange Romania, within the limits of availability within Orange Romania
- Tutor from Orange Romania for the preparation of the diploma (bachelor) thesis
- Candidate for recruitment starting January 2023
Educational Package III (maximum 36 places)
- Monthly grant of 100 euro for 3 months, starting July 1, 2023;
- Summer internship in the Technical or IT departments of Orange Romania;
- Participation in courses offered by OEP;
- Certificate of participation in the courses offered by OEP;
- Possibility to realize the diploma (bachelor) project within Orange Romania, within the limits of availability within Orange Romania;
- Tutor from Orange Romania for the preparation of the diploma thesis;
- Candidate for recruitment starting January 2023.

The application file will contain:
- Curriculum Vitae which will obligatorily include:
- Contact details (phone, e-mail),
- detailed up to date academic record, including the average grades of the 3 or 5 semesters and the final grades obtained in the subjects studied, as well as the proof confirming these grades (for example: extract from the university platform where the grades obtained in the subjects studied are made available to the students or a certificate from the faculty secretary's office with the average grades of the 3 / 5 semesters)
- participations in competitions, communication sessions, awards, diplomas obtained in the faculty, specializations, additional courses taken in the faculty or outside the faculty, research activities, activities within student organizations. - Letter of intent, specifying for which internship places the candidate is applying.
- Confirmation of commitments to other companies (if any).
- Confirmation regarding the possibility of accommodation in Bucharest. for students from other university centers.
There is no limit to the number of internship places you can choose.
The educational packages are awarded by a Commission composed of teachers from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology and specialists of S.C. Orange Romania S.A. on the basis of:
- application file - maximum 400 points
- the test organized by Orange Romania - maximum 300 point
- interview organized by Orange Romania - maximum 300 points
All tests are mandatory and any of them can be eliminatory. The test will be personalized and will take place during the interview. The interview will take place at the Orange Transing Center within the faculty.
Timeline
- The list of students who will participate in the interview organized by Orange Romania will be published on March 31, 2023.
- The interviews with the selected students will be organized between April 3-6, 2023 and will be held online on the Teams platform.
Candidates will be interviewed for each internship they have applied for. - The list of students who have been admitted to the Orange Educational Program will be published on April 7 2023.
- The deadline for candidates to confirm their internship place is April 11, 2023.
- The signing of the internship agreements and scholarships will take place from April 12, 2023.
Withdrawal Policy
The withdrawal of an admitted candidate will allow the next ranked candidate to obtain the educational package. Educational packages can be withdrawn if:
- The beneficiary (the student) achieves inadequate results in the university examination session.
- The beneficiary does not comply with one of the following obligations:
- Throughout the duration of the program The Beneficiary shall abide by the rules of discipline and internal rules of Orange Romania.
- The Beneficiary will constantly participate in the internship activity within Orange Romania and will not be absent without excuse.
Eligibility criteria
Educational Package I
For the educational package of type I, all third-year students can apply if they meet the following conditions:
- They have passed the first two years and accumulate a total of at least 750 points out of a maximum of 1000 points awarded for: file analysis, interview.
- They are not employed and commit to not getting employed by another company during the scholarship program.
- They do not benefit from another private scholarship during the same period as the one offered by Orange Romania, through which they would assume contractual obligations (commitments) towards the company providing the scholarship.
Educational Package II
For the educational package of type II, all third-year students can apply if they meet the following conditions:
- They have passed the first two years and accumulate a total of at least 650 points out of a maximum of 1000 points awarded for: file analysis, interview.
- They are not employed and commit to not getting employed by another company during the scholarship program.
- They do not benefit from another private scholarship during the same period as the one offered by Orange Romania, through which they would assume contractual obligations (commitments) towards the company providing the scholarship.
Educational Package III
For the educational package of type III, all third-year students can apply if they meet the following conditions:
- They have passed the first two years of studies and have accumulated a total of at least 550 points out of a maximum of 1000 points awarded for file analysis and interview.
- They are not employed and commit to not getting employed by another company during the scholarship program.
- They do not benefit from another private scholarship during the same period as the one offered by Orange Romania, through which they would assume contractual obligations (commitments) towards the company providing the scholarship.
