Bucharest, July 04, 2024: Orange Romania awards today a new generation of graduates of the Orange Educational Program (OEP) - National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, an educational project that raises future generations of telecommunications specialists and among the first sustainability initiatives implemented by a company in Romania (1997).
At the graduation gala, which takes place at the Orange Training Center of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Bucharest, 28 students will receive the certificate attesting to the completion of the Orange academic education program in the academic year 2023-2024. To support their educational endeavors, during their studies, the company provided the participants from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest with internship scholarships worth approximately €19,000. In addition, 5 of them were also awarded scholarships for their bachelor's thesis at Orange, totaling 7,200 euro.
At the same time, this academic year, scholarships were also awarded to 4 participants from the OEP - Transilvania University of Brasov and "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi. Thus, the total value of the scholarships offered by Orange for this edition is approximately 30.000 euro.
